Peter Williamson is Managing Partner of the CES Consulting Group, a firm he founded in 1993.

With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Mr. Williamson has broad experience in general business management, marketing, strategic planning, credit risk management and operations.

Since 1987, Mr. Williamson has been a consultant focusing on the payments industry. He is respected in the industry for his ability to provide clients with creative and practical solutions to a wide range of problems. He has led major consulting engagements for a diverse mix of clients, including the major card associations, issuers, acquirers, retailers, oil companies, automobile manufacturers, airlines, car rental companies and other financial services companies. Mr. Williamson's bank clients have included: American Express, Bank of America, Bank One, Barclays Bank of Delaware, Chase Manhattan, First Chicago, GE Capital, HSBC, Pitney Bowes Global Financial Services, Union Federal Savings Bank and Wells Fargo.

Other clients have included such companies as Amoco Enterprises, Hertz, TWA, Mercantile Department Stores, Circuit City, Payless ShoeSource, Montgomery Ward, ComputerLand, Fortunoff, and GE Appliances.

Mr. Williamson has worked on virtually every type of consumer and small business credit program on initiatives relating to all key aspects of the business including, product development, co-brand program development, new account acquisition, customer relationship management, credit risk management, portfolio valuation and strategies for intellectual property.

As President of Credit Partners, Inc., from 1987-1992, Mr. Williamson founded the "Risk Managers' Roundtable," an independent association of senior credit risk managers from 25 of the largest card issuers. Credit Partners administered all Roundtable activities including, acting as a clearinghouse for members to share monthly indicators of portfolio risk, conducting special benchmark studies on such topics as write-off policies, authorization parameters, policies for overlimit accounts and collection costs. Credit Partners also developed custom credit and behavior scoring models for banks in Asia and Latin America.

Before establishing his consulting practice, Mr. Williamson spent more than 12 years at Citicorp and was Senior Vice President of Citicorp Retail Services, where he was Business Manager and had full P&L responsibility for the department store private label credit card business. Mr. Williamson had overseas assignments for Citicorp in Milan, Italy and London, England.

CES is listed on Visa's website for its consulting services in the co-branding area. Mr. Williamson has been on the faculty of MasterCard University and has served as a member of the Board of Advisors of Credit Card Management Magazine. He has also been a regular speaker at credit card industry forums and is often consulted by the industry for his views on trends in consumer credit and payment systems.

Mr. Williamson has a BS degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.
